Burial Ground

Ampfield Burial Ground is located in Chapel Wood (adjacent to St Mark’s, Ampfield). It is owned by Ampfield Parish Council, who are the Burial Authority. All parishioners of whatever, or no, faith are eligible for burial in the Ampfield Burial Ground.

Until January 2023, the Burial Ground was managed by the Church of England Benefice of Ampfield, Chilworth and North Baddesley. This was subsequently returned to Ampfield Parish Council.

For new enquiries for burials or interment of ashes, funeral directors should contact clerk@ampfield.org.uk

The Clerk will deal with any eligibility issues and issue documentation to request a burial.
