Ampfield Parish Council provides a democratically elected voice on behalf of the community, on planning applications and other proposals that affect the parish.

The Council owns and manages; Ampfield Recreation Ground and it's pavilion, 16 allotments at Morleys Green, Chapel Wood. As the Burial Authority, the Council owns and manages  the Ampfield Burial Ground situated in Chapel Wood.
