Update: The start time of the works has been put back to 11pm on May 4th, so the road will remain open both for people to vote and for the polling staff to get away from the polling station at the Village Hall in good time as well. Work will start as planned at 6.30pm on Friday 5th. Ampfield Hill (A3090) will be closed overnight on Thursday 4th May and Friday 5th May from 6:30pm to 6am next day.
