This information on registering to vote in forthcoming elections comes from Test Valley Borough Council's electoral team:

The requirement for electors to show acceptable photographic Voter ID at polling stations was introduced in May 2023 for all elections in England. On Thursday 2 May 2024, elections will be held for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police and Crime Commissioner, and electors will once again be required to show ID in order to be issued with a ballot paper when voting in person. Poll cards are due to be despatched the week commencing 25 March.
